Blast from the past (dinorider)

Well, it's been exactly 2 years since I made this fella. Inspired by the templars (survivor humans slighly mutated to adapt the harsh enviropment of Dark Eden - earth in the Mutant Chronicles universe) I took inspiration from the concept art in the rulebook wich elements to add or combine, as well as color choices.

Now its weird flesh and robe are finished, the rest of the model, mount included are basecoated, highligted once in some cases and then washed. I know for many it would make a tabletop piece but I see it as just the color blocking. Hope to smooth things up and finish it in the next sitting.

Bueno, 2 añitos exactos despues de terminar el bicho...lo empiezo a pintar! se supone que es un tempario (superviviente humano adapatado mediante mutación evolutiva a las condiciones del eden oscuro, la tierra de mutant chronicles). Me inspiré en el arte conceptual del manual intentando decirdir con que me queda, que combino o descarto, y un esquema de color coherente para la bestia.

La piel rarunga y los harapos están terminados. El resto esta simplemente pintado en capa base y con un lavado para tener un punto de partida. Algunos dirian que "para jugar, vale" pero le voy a dedicar mas tiempo, suavizandolo todo un poco, añadiendo detalle... espero que de una sentada en la proxima sesión.

Ok, a quickie I made despite I don't play wargames anymore. A piece of terrain depicting a temple of an ancient "unknown" civilization. I blinked and it was made. Terrain is always fun. Oh, and next week I promise not to cheat on posts' dates. Enough of being a sociopath ;p

Una cosa rapidilla que me saqué de la manga; ya no juego wargames pero hice un trocillo de escenografía que representa un templo antiguo de una "desconocida civilización". Lo hice en un santiamén. Uno siempre se lo pasa bien con la escenografía... La semana que viene un post nuevo, esta vez sin trampas con la fecha de la publicación. Por una vez no seré un sociópata ;p

On Fire ! ( gormiti )

Iphone-done photos... not bad I guess, it looks a tad better IRL. Despite that, I looked for a toon like effect, ben10 stile, with those "kirby (jack) dots" and such. Firey footprints mad with Vallejo plastic putty.

If you missed it, this is a gormiti rubber toy after a good prepping / painting session. It'd made a good fire/lava elemental, a giant for my usual scale. On 40mm Base.

Fotos de Iphone... supongo que no están tan mal, pero mucho mejor en persona. He intentado un efecto de dibus a lo ben10 con esos "puntos Kirby (jack)" y tal. Las huellas flamígeras las hice con masilla plástica Vallejo. Un elemental de fuego/lava genial y grandote para mi escala habitual.

Para los que no tienen ni idea de que va esto, es un muñeco de goma gormiti tras una buena preparación y mano de pintura. En base de 40mm.
