Noticed casting just 1 body and 1 weapon is nuts due to the tiny amount of resin needed for that so decided to quick try doing something else.
There's oficial rules for the necrotyrant both in ultimate warzone and the collectible miniatures game but neither art nor proper models were released ever.
Necrotyrants are supposed to be necromutant failures: they retain little to no memory of their former selves and feel no pain due half assed nerve connections so they show a huge disregard for their own (and mates') survivability.
I think I'll give him a blade arm, like in the movie, just trousers and 1 classic dark legion shoulderpad, plus the mandatory belzerach and that's it.
Molds have been a failure (1st try) almost destroying masters but gave a 2nd try using years old silicone leftover I had around and looks like it worked.
Vacuum pot will be on my way maybe next week. Lots of money investment for non comercial non profit stuff but castings with bubbles are a no-no.

Me he dado cuenta que mezclar resina para piezas tan pequeñas es chungo, así que decidí hacer alguna figura más para poder manejar cantidades cómodamente.
Es un Necrotyrant a medias. Jamás hubo mini oficial; se supone que son necromutantes fallidos que no retienen memoria, tienen poca inteligencia y no conservan sensibilidad. Esta mezcla hace que sientan poco aprecio por su propia seguridad y la de sus compas (si no duele...)
Creo que lo haré estilo película, con un brazo cuchilla.
Moldes hasta ahora mal, pero en un segundo intento con restos de otra silicona diferente (con años a sus espaldas, no debería haber funcionado) parece que bien.
Compraré una cámara de vacío, pésima decisión puesto que no voy a sacar pasta de esto, así que no amortizar nada (podría ir modelando y pintando y no hacer copias de las figuras) pero bueno. La burra grande ande o no ande.

EliminarMe han salido cosillas en plan museos, pero esta la cosa muy mangas por hombro, hoy hace un árbol a escala 1:1 mañana una célula 1:0000000000001 un poco raruno pero güeno.
Lo ideal sería pintar para otros o vender minis, pero es una utopía. Además yo y el dinero no nos llevamos bien: cuando cobro por algo suelo sentirme como que estoy estafando a la gente cuando mi hora a veces es más barata que currar en el MC Donald xD
Creo que voy a invertir unos cientos de leuros en cámaras de vacio, presión, etc. Y hacer miniaturas que nadie quiera (eso de ponerse a ilustrar y hacer tots de He-Man porque Netflix puaj, me llevo con los trendings como con la pasta).
En serio, concebir y producir un producto que sabes que no tiene mercado me parece que me viene al pelo. Un "por mis co'one". Más sincero y realista que la mayoría de jefecillos que hay sueltos que se creen empresarios ^^
Me está interesando Reign in Hell (wargame agnóstico de minis) y ese estilo de cosas...
Tengo ganas pero nunca terminó nada.
Mi plan es modelar igual, sacar moldes (estoy en ello), empaquetarlo, abrirlas, pintarlas y jugar a algo.

Casting resin sounds perilous, I always impressed that people just... do it. I'm glad you didn't lose any sculpts in the process, that's always the kind of thing that I'm terrified of any time I try something new. Kind of like using water effects. There's no way I'm going to paint a bunch of fish and stuff and then pour resin over them and risk losing everything 😐

Don't like any brand of minis out there. I appreciate the designs and work but I can't relate to 28/15mm everything looking the f* same but different scale and topic.
So being low on budget I'll be investing some serious money on vacuum pot, pressure pot, etc so I can sculp, take molds, cast and package minis.
Then I'll be unboxing them and painting like everyone does with their regular minis from a shop.
I'll try to stick to miniatures agnostic games or mutant chronicles in my particular way of doing things, so neither no-one will ever bother me asking to purchase some minis nor some idiots will contact me to sue me hard and trying to get money out of something that ain't a business.
I'll try to keep pulling the trigger of that thing in my mouth and see how far I can get without getting bored of it (or ruined) 😄 cheers pal
