Ok. I can't cast miniatures till I can mix enough resin so I started another master, this time a big guy that might help bulk production.

This is gonna be sort of ezoghoul / zoat-esque centaurean dude, so after looooong time I got the 1st half. I'll sculpt and cast upper torso separately because reasons.

It makes sense in my head hope you like it. May I complete it within 1 or 2 weeks God speed.

Vale. No puedo sacar copias de miniaturas porque uno o dos moldes es demasiado poca resina para pesar/mezclar vien (xD) así que estoy en esas de hacer más originales y al final entacarme haciendo todos las reproducciones.

Este va a ser una especie de ezoghoul / zoat. Me ha llevado la vida pero ya tengo el culete de este centauro. Lo haré en 2 piezas, así que en breve (juas!) el torso.

Espero que te guste, en mi cabeza tiene sentido.

Boring AF

That's it. Been working on pro making molds of my miniatures, finally. Boring, time consuming and I bet it's not worth it (why might I want copies?) yet I kinda wanted to do all myself old-school using wax, wood and whatnot as I were taught instead of YouTube hacks "you've doing it wrong" kind of stuff.

So far I have a necromutant body, a complete necromutant figure and a weapon. Hope to be finishing more necros and starting an ezoghoul model which will be a pain in the ass mould making wise.

Sorry, not much eye candy but I swear It's more involved than painting stuff. Just less interesting to look at. Had to smooth things up, do some filling etc.

BTW the gun was almost destroyed in my 1st attempt so now its surface looks weird. I textured it to look more necrotech-ish but got uncured silicone on it and the weirdness is now accentuated. Algeroth may still approve.

Dunno what color cast them, maybe transparent  or colored clear, or mixed colored clear like gummy bears... maybe pastel. Dunno.

I bet there's someone thinking "just trans like you" xD

No se para que me pongo a hacer copias, la verdad. Es un currando, aburrido y chupa una de tiempo que ni te cuento. Pero quería hacerlo al estilo traditional. Con madera, cera, olla de vacío... nada de rolls de YouTube de haz el molde con legosy tal y cual.

No se que haré con las copias, pero quería hacerlas "como antes" . Tengo ya 3 moldes: un cuerpo, un arma y una figura completa.

A ver como acaba el experimento, no se si me cansaré antes o me quedaré sin dinero para tirar por el váter.  Siento que no mole 1000 pero da más curro esto que pintar, solo que no es tan guay de ver.

Que molaría más? Miniaturas transparentes, trans pero de algún color? O colores varios tipo gomitas? O tonos pastel?

Seguro que alguien va a pensar "trans como tú" xD

Had these pics done like in February 2021. Just saw the mini sitting there and wanted to check the post and OUCH!

The original body is years old now, I sculpted over with grey putty.

It is a putrid dmön playing with a human face, which tried to sculpt "rubbery" hope it shows.

He's kinda "look at me I'm human, I love you Blergh!" and Blergh saying "For Satan's sake throw that already, they kiss each other with that!"

I'm really sorry for anyone who actually may care about what I do. Sure there are more undocumented shit around. 

No doy crédito,  pero como puedo ser tan mendrugo? He mirado la info y las fotos están hechas en febrero 2021! Menudo anormal. En fin.

El cuerpo es de hace unos años ya, lo continué con masilla gris.

Es básicamente un demoño de mugre que está haciendo el idiota con una cara humana "Floid, te parece que tengo mala cara?".

Intenté que pareciera "gomosa" tanto modelando como pintando.

Me sabe francamente mal, he ido a mear in the nay y al pasar por el mueble la he visto y me ha dado por mirar el blog. Se me ha caído la cara de vergüenza, así que me he puesto a escribir in demidel ofdenay como buen anormal que soy.

Ok. Almost done according with your recipe. May smooth things up, coat the chain (I prefer sculpted chain, looks more 'part of the fig').

I'm considering adding a belt (chain?) buckle or something and that's it. Weapons sold separately. 

Got the vacuum chamber already so after few touch ups it will be science time. Silicone, resins and weird machinery.

Ya casi, según lo dicho. Toca suavizar cuatro cosas, darle grosor a la cadena (prefiero modelarla yo, la verdad) y tal vez añadirle una hebilla o algo delante.

Tengo la cámara de vacío y los potingues así que en breve toca intoxicarse.

Necrotyrant | Painting considerations while sculpting

So the guy is almost done now. In the 90s I came to read a Tim Prow interview where he said he left blank plates and surfaces not by laziness but to allow painters add their own stuff.

That's somehow happening to me. That guy will most likely be pale green skinned, rotten flesh or so with leather pants/boots AND blueish metal (Paul Bonner / Horley style) for the gun, boot tip etc.

Then I picture myself painting lots of metal on the right side of the mini (boot, weapon) and none on the bone blade side. I think this MIGHT bother my future me so:

Should I add a metallic shoulderpad on his bone blade arm just for color composition harmony?

That may kill the savage IDC look.

I am also considering adding chain belt to his pants to break up textures.

In the same fashion may add rags or bandages on his pistol handing waist.

I would love to know your thoughts on that subject.

Esto está casi ya. El caso es que tengo en mente a mi yo del futuro pintando y meh.

La carne será verde pálido y la pistola, puntera de bota... metálico azulado. Y la cuestión es que veo mucho metálico en la parte derecha de la miniatura y nada en la izquierda.

Se antoja poco armonioso.

No se si añadir una hombreras metálica al brazo del pincho para que a la hora de pintar haya una rotura de color ahí.

Me preocupa perder el look salvaje y de me la pela todo que tiene el necromuyayo. 

En la misma linea de pensamiento, podría añadir un cinturón de cadena o vendajes en el brazo donde irá la pistola, para añadir "chicha" que pintar y no sea todo la misma superficie.

Me interesa bastante tu opinión (si a esto, no a aquello)... no se si esta mierda me la planteo yo solo o cuando pintas se nota que el escultor piensa en esas cosas.
