It's ok not to aim for your best damn paintjob everytime you sit. It's a hobby after all, something we like doing, we have fun out our time spent on.

In a nutshell, lockdown + roleplaying.

Already had the minis needed but one thing: Rats for sewer encounters so sculpted them in a couple of sittings and next day they were painted and ready. Nothing to call home about, wanted them hairy, comic looking and not boring, something hard to achieve on such small (20mm square base) and simple pieces. Tryed giving them different fur coloration but still look too samey. No regrets tho. Quick and Fun, and my players loved the run.

Ya está bien no ir siempre a por lo mas alto y superar tu última pieza, porque te puedes rayar mas que un disco de Chimo Bayo. Al fin y al cabo es un hobby.

En dos palabras; confinamiento y Rol.

Tenía todas las minis necesarias para una sesión epicodecadente post chorrapunk excepto una: rataspara los encuentros cloaqueros. Nada para echar cohetes, las hice en un par de sentadas y las pinté en un rato. Queria ratas muy peludas, para un plus de asquete submundil extrafecal, tipo cómic y que no fueran un bodrio, algo difícil dada la diminutez (5 bichos en una peana de 20mm). Intenté variaciones en el tono de los pelajes pero tampoco es que se distinga mucho. En fin, me la pela. Parece ser que se lo pasaron bien jugando y yo haciendolas, punto.

Escribiendo y editando 5 entradas, con suerte cada 2 días material nuevo, permaneced atentos.

Wasteland cov-beasts (you slipped me a quickie!)

This time you get 2 minis in the same post, but don't kneel down to the god of hobbying yet.

Those are two crappy toys that came out of chocolate egg thingies. Shaved some plastic into cristal shapes and hot glued into place, added a blob of hot glue for that scorpion tail vibe and hot glued the veggie. Finally gave the plant some spitey drool.

Painted (airbrush practice pieces) and set them apart for years. Days ago I found them and thought they desevered something else to be something worth watching at least once.

Put some reds into the purple, Highlighted, reworked the greens (orc skin fantasy & games scalecolor set booklet recipe) and yellow candy ink (greenstuff world) on its drool so it'd stop looking like it ate a dick (previously the goo was clear/white).

Crystal critter got magenta and purple glazes on its face and tail, and blue faded to green plus mottled pattern and veins.

I plan to update on daily basis. Ok Ok, the cake is a lie, but well at least once a week, maybe twice depending on people's response to the update frenzy.

Se trata de dos cutre regalos de los güevos kindred de hacendado, malísimos pero al menos aprobechables para pruebas con el aerografo.

Un poco de baba aquí, unos cristales tallados en plástico y pegados con pegotes de cola caliente, otro pegote en la cola para hacerla escorponoide y a cagar. Al cajón de pintados, por los siglos de los siglos...

Hasta hace un par de dias que los volví a ver y me han dado pena. No merece la pena ni mirarlos dos veces. Tampoco quería volver a invertir tiempo en esto pero me parecían penosos.

luces mas marcadas en los morados, unos toques de rojo, enriquecer el verde con la receta del libreto del set orc skin set de fantasy & games scalecolor y sobretodo, candy ink amarilla de green stuff world en la baba para que parezca algo tóxico en lugar de dejarla transparente /blanquecina, que parecía que se hubiera comido un rabo. Ascazo.

A cristalín le he marcado mas las luces, veladuras magenta en cara y cola, modeados en el lomo y cola, un degradado tirando a verde en el azul tan plano que teníay unas venillas.

Tonterías con las que entretener al ojo para que por un momento se olvide de los chusteras que son ambas minis.

Y eso es todo, mas novedades mañana. Bueno, mentira. Una vez por semana? dos? dependiendo de lo loca que se muestre la gente. Está claro que si me empiezan a llegar jamones por correo subo mandangas a diario!

People suggested I should add a mini spider drone on the base but I'm still trying to make it work.

Paint-wise, lower end legs are Vallejo's Deck Tan (a color to die for, go get it you fools). Depending on what I aim for, I shade it with english uniform, beige... I wanted cold whites so I painted them warm, that's how we idiots roll.

Upper leg parts are Scale 75 metal n' alchemy (blueish / green / purple hued silver tones). I noticed I missed the reds in the metal parts. Yup, the previous cybloke had hints of red on metals' shadows. I may or may not add this later on... dunno as it's a finished model.

The marble didn't work at all in the end: the kind of stuff that screams something is wrong but you don't know how to fix it. Leaving the marble as it was, felt too shiny and half assed, so I add a pixel-like pattern (those kind of animated effects you se crawling over videogame characters - see SMITE particle effects -), then glazed inks thru the airbrush to mist the marble. IMHO it worked and no longer feels like a gimmick.

Skintone is matter of fantasy & games Scalecolor. I went pale, then glazed the shit out of it with green stuff world inks and washes, plus some straight paint glazes. Everything thinned down with vallejo. Sometimes I also use Liquitex matt medium and their glaze medium too. Gooey stuff...

My inspiration for flesh tone was Urban War Syntha: its pale flesh was washed / filtered with blue then glazed spots here and there with green ( Scalecolor misfits green), purple, etc.

No tengo mucho (ejem) que decir: lo que ves es lo que hay.

Estoy pendiente de meterle un minidron araña en la base, pero no es facil construir ese pequeño hijoputilla.

La parte inferior de las patas es Marrón Cubierta (deck tan) de Vallejo. Si no lo tienes, no existes para mi. Asi que si alguien que no existe deja un cometario me voy a cagar un poco. El blog de Schrödinger...

La parte alta de las patas es metal n' alchemy steel series de fantasy n' games de scalecolor. En las sombras le falta un toque de rojo que si le di al cyberpavo de la otra entrada. No se si añadirle tal sutileza o tirar millas.

La canica fué como una patada en las bolas; me olía el pastel pero no sabía que andaba mal o cómo arreglarlo: Decidí meterle un patrón de píxeles como esos efectos de partículas que recorren los cuerpos de los personajes de videojuegos (en SMITE por ejemplo) y tinta a aerógrafo para "enturbiar" la bola y que no cantase tanto. Al final creo que ha quedado bien integrada en la figura y no da cante. Aporta cierto efecto sin ser efectodependiente (tirar de un truco y no trabajarlo).

La piel es Scalecolor también, un tono pálido, velado en azul y luego toques de verde (misfits green) y púrpura aqquí y allá. Me inspiré en los syntha de Urban War.

Todo lo que rebuzno lo rebajo siempre, incluso las tintas) con thinner medium de vallejo, aunque tengo también medium mate y de veladuras de Liquitex, etc.

Si has leído hasta aquí que sepas que en pocos dias subiré mas porquería al blog. HURRA! Lo que no se es si seguir con el blog multilingüe o no.  No se hasta que punto la gente lee un idioma u otro, o le importa...
