Ace of Base

I'm kinda lost lately. Have done a bunch of hobby but I'm not taking pics anymore nor in the mod for posting as I feel I'm not adding much to what it's shown on pics.

From now on I'll be updating from my cellphone and a bluetooth keyboard.

Those are 2 custom bases 40x40mm DM wood base with milliput textured wit Green Stuff World's rollmaker.

Used the dremel to sand the sides in angle, then painted on Vallejo's plastic putty (same bottle as their model color paints) to hide Dremel's scratches then sanded back with those nail polish sandpaper sticks.

The second one is for a "big project" so I had to triple pin a 40x40mm (monster) and a 20x40mm (cavalry) base.

I'll be writting down and schedule future updates so this might be the time to stay tuned. I promise.

Ando un poco perdido. Voy tirando "palante" el hobby pero paso de hacer fotos y tal. Me da que no añado mucho a las fotos con el texto.

A partir de ahora, actualizaré con el teléfono y un teclado bluetooth para agilizar, por si esto le interesa aun a alguien.

Estas son 2 peanas de madera DM de 40x40mm con una loncha de milliput texturizada con los Rollmaker de Green Stuff World.

Con la dremel las he lijado en bisel (ángulo), con masilla plástica de vallejo les he tapado los arañazos y mas lijado con tacos de lima de uñas.

La segunda base son 2, una de 40x40 y otra de caballería (20x40mm) pegadas entre si con 3 refuerzos de alambre.

Voy a ir sacando fotos en serie y programando actualizaciones a ver si mantengo esto un poco a flote.

por cierto, me he acabado la segunda novela de Estados unidos de japón. Si te van los mechas, la recomiendo.

Blue Moon Legends - Red Dragon

Let me be clear about the miniature; I haven't sculpted it, so it's just my paint job.

It belongs to blue moon legends and it's a token. It's fairly different from magic and the box contains it all ( about 8 complete factions, and expansions ) so there's no need to dish extra money.

You basically have to equal or surpass your opponent's combat value which may be earth or fire, and element switches thru the you go I go kind of game. Whoever can't keep the pace or decides to retreat makes the opponent win a dragon. Get 3 and you win the game, make your opponent go thru his deck and you win once he/she runs out of cards.

An amazing almost text free 2 player self contained card game by Reinier Knizia. It gets better the more you play against the same person so it's lovely for couples.

Esta no Lange modelado yo, simplemente he pintado una figura 'token' del juego de cartas Blue Moon Legends.

Se trata de un juego de bazas de Reinier Knizia donde 2 jugadores compiten por atraer la atención de 3 dragones. Eliges un elemento en disputa de los 2 valores que tiene cada carta (fuego y tierra) y a partir de ahí tienes que igualar o superar el valor de tu adversario (o cambiar el elemento en disputa) o en su defecto, retirarte y permitir que tú oponente atraiga a un dragón.

Si te quedas sin cartas pierdes, así que una de las estrategias puede ser usar cartas que puedas recuperar, enfrascando a tu rival en una disputa de a ver quién la tiene más gorda y hacerlo ganar dragones a costa de invertir mucha carta y que al final pierda por tener 2 dragones y 0 cartas. Etc.

Es un juegazos y en la caja tienes todas las facciones y expansiones. No es ampliable y no es tipo Magic que cada carta tiene un texto y reglas que se van sumando y sumando...

Strangest things

Ahoy, oldhammers ! That's a tough one. It started as a parody of those old school Realm of chaos lost and the damned kind of revival chaos minis. That weird intrincated armour/ body was sitting for too long so I went the mash up route with it.

I repurposed an old genestealer kind of arm armature (intended to be part of one of my very first minis shown in on this blog). Next step was to fit a lazy set of tendrils so, what could go wrong with slapping a giant tongue instead of a head (all hail Nyarlatothep) adding teeth around as a finishing touch.

Weird to say the least. Hope that freaked out any of you who still dare dwelling around.

Esta va a ser chunga de explicar; todo empezó con las moviditas de oldhammer y ese revival loco de las miniaturas estilo The lost and the Damned (realm of chaos). A saber cómo o porqué a alguien se le ocurrió en el siglo XXI modelar como en los 80, así que hice la parodia de rigor. Y ahí se quedó criando polvo hasta que el año pasado decidí meterle caña.

Lo que pretendía ser una intrincada armadura retro del caos ha sido remendada con un armazón de brazo rollo genestealer que tenía por ahí de cuanso empecé el blog, o antes. Luego un socorrido ramillete de tienta-culos y para rematar un lenguazo estio Nyarlatothep, cuatro dientes y a correr.

Reciclando roña para hacer minis.No hay por dónde cogerla, pero bueno (dijo ella).
