I actually cheated on yo...Thanks for your comment.

I actually cheated on you all! it was studio sculpey (green) and premo sculpey (gold). All polymeric clays, not epoxidic putties.

Yeah, I'm that twistedly evil.

BTW our thumbs are sculptor's greatest enemies, specially w/ polymeric clays that stay soft forever (till they are baked).

Anyway, premo on its workable stage is harder than studio so the principle is the same I guess, although IMHO milliput is cheaper than brown stuff but is reactive to water so you can smoth it with a wet tool before it sets and then sand and file as much as you want once cured.

Ziploc baggies... I wouldn't thrust 'em anymore. Try get them thru ebay, I'm sure there are still Dr.W. minis arround.javihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00242836231493748919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22573646.post-44099872927637379612011-03-21T03:26:38.194+01:002011-03-21T03:26:38.194+01:00PS: I like the shotgun, you used the brown putty t...PS: I like the shotgun, you used the brown putty that dries harder for that, right? I've never tried using that stuff.Allison M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08362700513221195102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22573646.post-4042490330918452332011-03-21T03:25:10.307+01:002011-03-21T03:25:10.307+01:00Heh... nice creation. I've had sculpting projects go horribly awry, but they usually feature me putting a thumb right onto a painstakingly created piece before it's set, or something dumb like that.

Your comment on my blog about Doctor Who minis was bang on by the way: they ARE the Harlequin minis, sold through Black Tree. I don't know if BT actually has the molds, but I suspect so. The figures arrives in Ziploc baggies, rather than any packaging with "Harlequin" on it. (and I guess I was lucky, their customer service is apparently appalling, and the bigger the order, the more appalling it gets!)Allison M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08362700513221195102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22573646.post-49401308935139752642011-03-17T23:07:48.309+01:002011-03-17T23:07:48.309+01:00Hum... pastelitos de te verde... *¬* (vicio)

Sin tener tiempo que una parte seque y se endurezca antes de meterte con la parte siguiente. Algo que yo, por el momento, soy incapaz de hacer. ¡BRAVO!Horaciohttp://narizones.net/blog/noreply@blogger.com
