I repurposed an old genestealer kind of arm armature (intended to be part of one of my very first minis shown in on this blog). Next step was to fit a lazy set of tendrils so, what could go wrong with slapping a giant tongue instead of a head (all hail Nyarlatothep) adding teeth around as a finishing touch.
Weird to say the least. Hope that freaked out any of you who still dare dwelling around.

Esta va a ser chunga de explicar; todo empezó con las moviditas de oldhammer y ese revival loco de las miniaturas estilo The lost and the Damned (realm of chaos). A saber cómo o porqué a alguien se le ocurrió en el siglo XXI modelar como en los 80, así que hice la parodia de rigor. Y ahí se quedó criando polvo hasta que el año pasado decidí meterle caña.
Lo que pretendía ser una intrincada armadura retro del caos ha sido remendada con un armazón de brazo rollo genestealer que tenía por ahí de cuanso empecé el blog, o antes. Luego un socorrido ramillete de tienta-culos y para rematar un lenguazo estio Nyarlatothep, cuatro dientes y a correr.
Reciclando roña para hacer minis.No hay por dónde cogerla, pero bueno (dijo ella).
Ha quedado muy 'Cthulha'.

Oh, there's definitely a Nyarlathotep vibe going on here. The colours are pure GW Chaos style though :D

Smoothness is achieved thru low air pressure airbrushing and brush glazing ;)
ResponderEliminarThanks, the thing I really dig from GW is the foundation color schemes say, red and gold (khorne) yellow and blue (eldar) etc.

Great mini, Nyarlathotep was the first thing I thought off when I saw it as I I assumed the teeth were a collar.

The only way of defeating Nyarlatothep is to make him speak (the only lovecraftian dude that does AFAIK) till it bites it's tongue.
